I’ll walk your garden / yard with you and answer as many of your questions as I'm able, offer advice on common garden issues, and share ideas for more native plantings / wildlife habitat / ecologically- focused landscaping and/or ways to include more edible plants (for humans). I can offer advice for DIYers, new gardeners, or ideas for working with a landscaper of your choosing. I will follow up with written notes and relevant suggestions from our conversation.

Includes any Q&A, ideas or troubleshooting I can help with in that timeframe and a follow-up email with any relevant resources based on our meeting. (No additional commitment.) 

$100 for Lexington residents, $125 for nearby towns; $150 for up to 30 mins travel time from SW Lexington. 

Do you feel like your garden could use a bit of general TLC? I will show up, spend a few hours tidying your outdoor spaces. You can meet me and provide a to-do list, or just let me show up and  work through the most-impactful areas, according to the budgeted time. E.g.: blocked walkways, invasive & large weed overgrowth, and general pruning of dead branches or misshapen foundation plants. No need to meet with me or provide instructions, unless you have specific concerns.

$40/hour + travel time to/from Lexington, MA. (at $40/hr), $100 session minimum. 

2 or 4 hour blocks can be booked online. Larger projects are welcome too, contact me to discuss or book a virtual meeting. 

Need to fill an empty space? Update an off-balance planting? Think through a plan to get all the invasive vines off of your property? Re-imagine your whole front yard as a food-producing climate victory garden? I can help with all of the above. My go-to design services are what I'll call "lightweight" - quick sketch visualizations to help get a sense of scope, scale and style, then matching location-appropriate plants to those sketch-design sizes and shapes. Or, we can skip the design phase altogether and just pick out plants to organize on-site. 

Estimates available upon request. In an effort to keep my price transparent and accessible, my hourly rate for meeting time applies to planning meetings, online research and planting plan suggestions. I suggest starting with my plant selection tool for more ideas!
